“Film, Movies, and Television: The All-Encompassing Dive into Aesthetics”

For my reflective essay in COM 405, seminar communications course, I utilized the discussed in class topics of Kant’s aesthetics and tied it into my preferred medium and study of choice, film. In this essay, I argue that film, being an all-encompassing medium, is the ideal way to explore and discuss all complex aspects of aesthetics.


“Discrimination of Black Americans by Power of Mass Incarceration”

For my final paper in my Intro to American Politics class, I focused on the criminal justice system’s legalized discrimination of black Americans in the United States of America. Focusing on legal ‘loopholes’ and the present revitilization of Jim Crow laws in our modern system, I argue for greater and more widespread reforms of mass incarceration.
